![]() there is a quick way of increasing the amount of nanites in all loot lists with just a few lines of code however - by editing the amount of nanites that are in the piles that are spawned by the loot lists: changing how many cyber modules are placed on the maps is doable, but you need to go around and change the concretes (either by editing the maps in the editor, or again, by writing a dml file), a tedious task. replace "Soda Can" with "Small BP Pile", and now you have a 25% chance to spawn a cyber module. do this for as many archetypes as you want, in all the ways you like, and you will have your mod. "6 - Rarity" 5}and the txt file needs to be renamed to gamesys.dml (make sure windows is set to display extensions), and placed into your SS2 folder. the modified code bit needs to be saved into a text file with a DML1 header, like this "6 - Rarity" 5}now there is a 25%+20% chance that a pile of 20 nanites will be left instead of nothing. "6 - Rarity" 5}we can modify the "2" field and the "5" field to spawn 20 nanites instead of nothing: for example, the original loot list of the pipe hybrid: to change the loot drops, loot lists need to be modified for each creature archetype you want to change in a way you desire. no easy, one click way of making the loot spawns more plentiful afaik. however, I would highly recommend using dml mods, they are basically text files with instructions that the engine reads and changes things on the fly, much easier to edit and modify, and impossible to mess the actual game up (if things go bad, you can always just delete the text file and the game will be ok again, as opposed to saving some bad stuff into the game files and then having to reinstall completely). yes, you can change pretty much anything by editing the maps and the gamesys with the editor. You crammed a pretty impressive amount of questions into that fairly short bit of text. ![]()
